It is a busy agenda for a meeting of the full Parish Council on Tuesday March 18th at 7 p.m. to be held in the Methodist Schoolroom. It is open to the public.

As would be expected, there will be updates on various ongoing matters, including a report on the provision of replacement equipment for the Village Hall children's playground, as well as on the Avant Homes planning application.

There will a progress report on street signs and on traffic calming measures on Knaresborough Road/Moor Road and considering any action required.

New issues on the agenda include considering the impact of road closures within the village, making Bishop Monkton a “No Cold Calling Zone” and receiving and considering a letter written by a villager regarding the use of HGVs in the village.

A detailed agenda can be found on the Bishop Monkton Parish Council website click

A full report on the meeting will appear on this website next week.
