There will be a short, both in time and distance, road closure tomorrow and Tuesday (June 2nd & 3rd).

Knaresborough Road will be closed from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on both these days and, studying the map for the closure, it would appear that this is from its junction with Hungate to around Melrose Road travelling towards Knaresborough. The diversion is signposted as being up Moor Road, along the A61 towards Harrogate, through Burton Leonard and back into the village.

The website understand that the closure is to allow inlay patching work to take place.
