The village was saddened to hear this week of the passing of villager, Chris Procter, a much respected figure within our community, Many villagers were privileged to have been able to call him their friend and his companionship and knowledgeable conversation will be much missed.

On behalf of the village, the website team would like to extend deepest sympathy to all his family.

Arrangements are in hand for a celebration of his life at Maple Park Crematorium near Thirsk.
