The Methodist congregation in the village have had their fingers crossed this Autumn, hoping that the newly renovated schoolroom would indeed be open before Christmas as scheduled. It looks like it has worked, because the latest update states that the work is progressing well and should be finished by the end of next week. Everyone, chapel members and villagers alike, are very excitedly looking forward to seeing what it will all look like.

In providing this week's report, Senior Church Steward, Tim Abel added “week commencing January 6th, our solar and battery installation will start along with the work to the worship area”.

It is certainly all go-but it will have all been worth it.
