OFFICERS:

Gerald Shervington – Chairman (Representing BEMEG) (stepping down 2025)

Lesley Shervington – Bookings Clerk & Secretary (Co-opted) (stepping down 2025)

Victoria Sargesson – Treasurer (Co-opted) (stepping down 2025)

CONSTITUTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS:

Croquet – Jill Barraclough

Table Tennis – Martin Minett (stepping down 2025)

Note: These representatives have to be on the committee of their own organisations. With notification, a substitute member can fully represent that organisation should the named person be unable to attend a meeting but that substitute must be on the committee of said organisation.

Note:  There is a maximum of 1 less than the number of full/constitution members.

CO-OPTED ORGANISATIONS:

At present there are none, in the past the Youth Club, Parish & Methodist Churches plus Gardening Club have been co-opted.  The representative from each these organisations must be one of their ‘officials’.

VOTING AT MEETINGS:

One vote for each Constitution ‘Club’ as detailed above (Cricket, Bowls, Croquet, BMEG, Table Tennis, Tennis, WI) though two in total from the Parish Council.  One vote for each of the co-opted members and one vote for each of the (any) co-opted organisations. Only those present at the meeting can vote and the Chairman shall have the casting vote.

MEETINGS QUORUM:

50% or more of the Constitution Committee members (or notified substitute).
