The Yorkshire Baker |
Celebrate the centenary of the much loved Little Be-Ro recipe book by listening to and watching Baker Mike, an award winning master baker for over 48 years, give a demonstration spotlighting all things Be-Ro. There will also be lots of opportunities to participate in tasting. And if you have one, or if your Mum or Grandma gave you one, bring your own copy along, however stained, marked or "dog-eared" and maybe win a prize in a small competition. |

Ladies-in-Pigs |
An unusual title for a talk with a difference. Ladies-in-Pigs are a national, non-profit making organisation that specialises in educating people about the versatility and health benefits of choosing pork and other high welfare British food, as well as promoting its products and methods. Its educational programme starts from the age of four upwards with talks that are mapped to the curriculum and examination boards, as well as cookery demonstrations and talks to adult groups.The evening will consist of a live cookery demonstration, together with two samples of delicious recipes to try, plus recipe booklets to take home. |
