The 182 bus service between Ripon and Knaresborough runs through the village Mondays to Saturdays with six journeys in each direction. There are bus stops opposite St. John's Church, at the junction of Hungate and St. John's near the former Lamb and Flag and on Knaresborough Road by Harvest View.

The 36 Luxury Bus service from Ripon into Harrogate and then onto Leeds stops at the Bishop Monkton Crossroads on the A61 by the Garden Centre at the top of Moor Road. It runs from early morning until late in the evening. The timetable can be accessed here
