Ripon Rowel Walk
The Ripon Rowel is a 50 mile long distance footpath around the ancient cathedral city of Ripon It can be accessed in several stages, (normally 4 or 5).
The path passes by and through many outstanding sites including Fountains Abbey, Markenfield Hall,Hackfall Woods, and Dallowgill in the Skell valley. It includes some attractive old villages, each with their own history and quirks and of course, glorious landscapes.
