The village's Parish Council recently conducted a survey as to whether residents would like to see a change to the name of the Parish Council. Would they prefer to keep the well established and historic name of parish or chose something more contemporary, perhaps village or community council. Click here to read the website article about the survey.

As they say, results have been counted and verified and show that, of the 99 villagers who contributed to the survey, a significant majority, about 70%, of residents did not want a change.

A detailed breakdown of the four questions in the survey can be found on the Council's website. Click here for those results.

The Council wishes to say thank you to villagers who took the time to answer the questions and is delighted with the high response rate. It plans to use surveys like this from time to time to test people’s views.
