The Chair of the VH Phil Goodier has apologised after the production company involved in the BBC children's drama had equipment delivered in the middle of the night. Nearby residents were woken by the sound of vehicles which were apparently delivering trailers and generators at 2.30 a.m.

Phil Goodier described the incident as 'unacceptable' and said he had been assured by the production team that this wouldn't happen again. It's understood that the production team were aware that this was going to happen in the middle of the night and they had made attempts to warn residents in Harvest View about the likely disruption.

The pictures above show current activity in the Village Hall car park. The second picture, which was taken towards the bowling green, shows a double decker truck, which is for use by the production team, while the smaller one is a classroom. As the six children involved in the production are of school age, school lessons have to continue-teacher also provided.

The third picture shows one of three trucks now situated immediately in front of the Village Hall. One is an actors' rest room, one a changing room and the third one will be used for make-up.
