The Parish Council meets for the first time this week since the co-option of three new members and the election of a new Chair. The meeting, in the newly revamped Methodist Schoolroom, starts at 7p.m. on Tuesday night (21st Jan), and is open to the public.

Agenda items include updates on the planned upgrade of the Children's Playground at the Playing Fields, the Avant Homes planning application, a new grass cutting contract for the village and a discussion on the persistant problem of dog fouling.

At the last meeting in December, Dean Culshaw was elected as Chair. Also, Andy Hogg, Phil Goodier and Rupert Scales were co-opted to the Council joining existing councillors Steve Oliver and Gareth Sargeson.

The full agenda and papers will be available on the Parish Council website.
