The family of former Bishop Monkton resident, Fiona Bailey, have announced that there is to be a memorial service for her next month. The service will take place in St. John's Anglican Church at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday 8th February.

Fiona, who died in November at the age of fifty-one, lived in the village until 2022 and was heavily involved in many aspects of the community including the School and the Anglican Church.

Her family made a moving tribute to Fiona on the pages of 'Bishop Monkton Today' earlier this month and scores of messages of sympathy came in following that.
