Bishop Monkton Cricket Club may have folded but junior cricket lives on. This week's warm weather heralded a glorious start to the junior cricket season earlier this week with an u11 match vs Beckwithshaw.

Richard Giles said:- "We are running cricket for all abilities and levels of experience from 4 to 11 this year. Come along on a Friday evening from 6pm to give it a go. It is a great village event."
