Bishop Monkton's annual charity auction takes place tonight (Saturday) with thirteen exciting lots up for bids plus other things for auction on the night.

Lots include a signed Yorkshire cricket shirt, tickets for Ripon Races, a chance to try diving and a beautiful handcrafted wooden keepsake box.

The auction starts at 7pm at the Masons and proceeds will be shared between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the Friends of Bishop Monkton School, the Village Hall and the two churches in the village.
