All parents belong to Friends of Bishop Monkton School. Through this organisation, parents actively support the school by raising money to provide facilities and equipment which enhance the children's education and also staging social events for families to enjoy.

FOBMS is a PTA organisation which aims to enhance the experience of all children at Bishop Monkton Primary School. We do this by:

• Fostering a strong sense of community
• Raising money to provide much needed facilities and equipment
• Organising social events for families to meet, build relationships and have fun!

As a parent, guardian or carer of a child at the school, you automatically become a member of FOBMS.

The PTA Raises most of its funds through running events, direct donations from parents and carers and donations from easyfundraising, a charity cashback website which generates donations when you use it to do your shopping online.

Our regular fundraising events include Christmas fair, tuckshops, summer stalls and Beck Busters, a 10k race and 2k fun run for children which over the past six years has raised £30,000.

We're always keen for feedback, suggestions and fresh ideas.

All the money we raise goes towards improving the educational experience of the pupils at Bishop Monkton school.
