Bishop Monkton Croquet Club was formed in 2010 and is based in Bishop Monkton where the Club shares facilities with the Village Hall and Playing Fields.

The season runs from April to September and membership is open to people of age 16+. New recruits are always welcome and all members have the use of the club's own equipment as well as access to coaching from more experienced players.

The Club plays the Golf Croquet (GC) format of the game. There are internal events and regional and national leagues and tournaments for those who wish to play competitively. These cater for all levels of player from beginner to expert.

Friday September 26th, 2025-Progressive Doubles

Members of the Club enjoyed a full and enjoyable day at the popular annual progressive doubles followed by a delicious supper in the Village Hall.

Robert Barraclough won with Colin Philpott a close second.
