During the 2024 Season the main club had to drop out of the Nidderdale Saturday League due to a shortage of players. This problem has grown increasingly worse in recent years and is affecting very many clubs in the area and across England. The 'BishopMonktonYesterday' website (Local History Group) has a good coverage of the club, from the first match incorporating Bishop Monkton (1816) through to joining the league (early 1920's) and up to more recent times.
